Leonadro Abarca Jiménez

Leonardo Abarca Jiménez has a law degree from the Technological University of Mexico. He obtained a master’s degree in law from the University Iberoamericana of Tijuana, in this same university he did a specialization in Constitutional and Amparo Law. He did a certification in the new criminal law system in the Higher Studies Institute of Monterrey, at their Mexico City Campus, He also acquired a certification in “Criminal Law, Criminal procedures and Criminal Amparo” in the house of Legal Culture, belonging to the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation.

Since a couple of years back he is a faculty member imparting different courses for bachelors and master’s degree in law at the University Iberoamericana of Tijuana. He has written for several nationwide magazines that specialize in law, like “EL MUNDO DEL ABOGADO, FORO JURÍDICO, ABOGADO CORPORATIVO, and ASESORES”. He has written as a columnist for “El Mexicano” newspaper, where he has collaborated in a column named Legal Field. He currently is secretary, counsel, and a member of the executive committee of the National Business Lawyers Association, Bar Association A.C. (Baja Seccion), in such bar he has also fulfilled the position of Coordinator of the Economic Competency Committee.

He is the Managing Parter and founder of the law firm GRUPO UNO ABOGADOS S.C., in the professional field he has more than 15 years developing primarily as a corporate lawyer, among which stand , the brewery GRUPO MODELO in which he served as Legal Head in the State of Baja California, GRUPO ECO GASOLINERAS in which he developed for more than 10 years as Legal Director, also for more than 10 years he has been legal advisor to SERVICIO PAN AMERICANO DE PROTECCIÓN, among others.

Manuel Pérez-Freyre Vaqueiro

Manuel Pérez-Freyre Vaqueiro has a Law Degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, where he graduated with summa cum laude in 1999. He has taken various courses and seminars, of which the Specialization Course in Alternative Methods of Dispute Resolution taught by said institution (1999); Practical Seminar on Commercial Arbitration, given by the Monterrey Institute of Higher Studies and the Mexican Bar Association, Nuevo León Chapter (2011); Study Week sponsored by the American Bar Association in Chicago, Illinois, taught by USAI and the American Bar Association within the framework of the Rule of Law Initiative (2011); Finance Seminar for Non-Financial, given by the Mexican Bar Association, Nuevo León Chapter (2012); Developing Defense Skills Seminar given by the National Institute for Trial Advocacy and Baker McKenzie LLP in Carlsbad, California (2019).

He has held the following positions in two of the most prestigious Bar Associations in the country. In the Mexican Bar Association, Nuevo León Chapter he served as Member of the Board of Directors and Coordinator of Academic Activities (2004-2006), Secretary of the Board of Directors (2006-2008), Member of the Board of Directors and Coordinator of Academic Activities (2010-2012 ) and Member of the Board of Directors (2012-2014). In the National Association of Business Lawyers, Baja California Section, A.C. from 2014 to date. Member of the Board of Directors from 2016 to date, on February 28, 2021 I will end my term as Member.

Before joining the firm as a partner in 2020, Mr. Pérez-Freyre was an Industrial Partner in the area of ​​litigation and dispute resolution at Baker McKenzie Abogados, SC, in his office in Tijuana, Baja California (2014-2020), Associate and in charge of the litigation area in the office of Monterrey, Nuevo León de Barrera, Siqueiros y Torres Landa, SC (now Hogans Lovells), Associate and in charge of the litigation area of ​​Quintanilla y Asociados, S.C. (2001-2009), all these firms with great national and international prestige.

CARLOS ESTEBAN GÜEREÑA RUIZ

Graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Universidad Autonoma of Baja California, he also has a Master’s Degree in Corporate Law from the Universidad Anáhuac and in Criminal Matters by the Criminal Sciences and Criminal c xcPolicy Postgraduate Institute of Baja California. (INPOCIPE).

He directs and advices different companies and entrepreneurs. He has extensive experience in Tax Law, Social Security, Corporate and Administrative Law.

Litigator in Administrative and Tax matters for more than 20 years with experience in amparo against the law, criminal and administrative defense against acts of authority such as Tax Administration Service (SAT), Institute of the National Housing Fund for Workers, Mexican Social Security Institute, PROFECO and others. 

He has served as an active member of the Fiscal Commissions of COPARMEX in LA Paz, Baja California and in the city of Tijuana, invited member of the Social Security Commission of the College of Accountants of Baja California and active member and former president of the National Association of Business Lawyers Baja California Section, also a professor in Master’s degree in Business and Tax Law at both CETYS Universidad and the Universidad Autonoma of Baja California.

He has participated in various academic forums and as an exhibitor and invited speaker.

Alejandro Martínez Favela

Alejandro Martinez Favela is a Law graduate with honorific mention from the Universidad Autonoma Of Baja California.
During his formative stage he collaborated with different governmental dependencies like the Labor board with Tijuana residents and the criminal courts in the first instance residing in Tijuana.

He has accredited a course in basic principles of industrial properties imparted by the Global Organization of Intellectual Properties
He has experience collaborating with private businesses in their first stages and development of ideas, searching for private and/or public investments for the development and scalability of technological projects.

In the professional fields he has primarily developed himself in the areas of intellectual properties and administrative law.
He’s currently a partner in the legal firm GRUPO UNO ABOGADOS S.C

DIANA MADELEINE CORREA JUÁREZ

Diana Madeleine Correa Juárez is a Law Graduate from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
Collaborated in different public sectors amongst the Civil Court from de Cuantía Menor of Ixtapaluca and the Criminal Court of first instance, both from Mexico City.
She has also provided social services at the City Council of Ozumba, Mexico City.
She is currently an associate at the law firm GRUPO UNO ABOGADOS S.C.

ARGENIS JEARIM VALDEZ AVILA

Argenis Jearim Valdez Avila graduated as a lawyer with honorific mention by the Universidad Autónoma of Baja California (UABC).

During the period of 2018-2020, she was a part of the National Corporation Lawyers Associations, Bar Association, Baja California Section., (ANADE), where she worked as an Administrative Assistant.

In the professional area she has mainly developed in the administrative, tax, and labor areas of the law.
